WORKING WITH SVITS

Choosing technical leadership.

Direct answers about the role, the team, and getting started.

What does a fractional CTO do?

A fractional CTO provides ongoing technical leadership on a part-time basis. At SVITS, Alex can work on product direction, architecture, engineering priorities, and team building. The scope and responsibility are agreed for your business.

How is an advisor different from a fractional CTO?

An advisor helps you work through decisions and technical questions. A fractional CTO takes an ongoing leadership role in engineering. A full-time CTO leads the function as a full-time member of your business.

Can Alex work with our existing developers?

Yes. Alex can lead or advise your existing engineers. You can add SVITS specialists where needed, or keep delivery entirely with your current team.

Can we engage the engineers without hiring Alex as CTO?

Yes. SVITS engineers can work under your technical leadership individually or as a team. Alex’s advisory or CTO involvement is a separate choice.

What determines the cost and level of involvement?

The scope of responsibility, product stage, technical complexity, existing team, and amount of ongoing involvement shape the engagement. We discuss those inputs before proposing the role and commercial terms.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

Describe the business goal, what already exists, the people involved, and the decisions or delivery problems ahead. A finished technical specification is not required.
